 About the artists:
Max Milligan

Max Milligan has been a performing guitarist since 1973. Between 1976-78 he backed numerous U.K. and U.S. artists at the Nite Spot club, for those of you old enough to remember!

During the 80's he joined the premier Soul/Funk band OCEAN. Then followed countless sessions in the U.K. Find out more...

Bob Peters
Self-taught keyboardist Bob Peters first appeared with blues outfit Safety Valve in 1982 and since then has been a member of various regional bands. Outside of the local scene, Bob has a been involved in many diverse projects which has seen him collaborate in the songwriting for the ‘80s West End musical Time, perform in New York and tour the Czech republic with Hair!  He has also worked with Mick Abrahams (ex-Jethro Tull), Mick Grabham (ex-Procol Harum) and Rob Harris (Jamiroquai).  He currently plays with Ocean and guests with other local bands.
Vince Memoli
Guitarist/Vocalist Vince Memoli is well known as one the driving forces behind Los Marbles and has been entertaining pub fans in Bedford with the band’s brand of no-nonsense rock and blues since the ‘80s.  As well as headlining the first Lazy Sunday festival, their appeal extends to the biker scene and have performed at a number of rallies and private events.  In recent years, transforming the band into Cutting Out has allowed Vince to inject more diverse material, which has been ably performed by a rolling roster of band members, currently including members of The Quireboys.
Rich Winter
Rich is a founder member, along with Sid Worth,  of the A Band, who opened and closed the Memorial Gig in September 2003.
Steve Woodward
Steve has been a regular performer in Bedford since the mid Seventies. He can currently be seen in the latest Thunderbird 5 line-up, but is probably best remembered as a founder member of Tobruk, who made two albums for EMI in the 80's. Today's set features fellow Thunderbird 5 members Rob Butterfield on bass and Wayne Breed on drums with special guests Dave Lewin on lead guitar and Lee Otter on Lead Vocals/Guitar.  We're going to be having fun and rockin'-up some early soul hits for everyone.  May even be the odd surprise appearance too but we don't know yet!
Mat Roberts
Mat has been writing, recording and playing since October 1990 when he was 13. Since then, he has recorded hundreds and hundreds of songs. He has a wide range of influences including Marc Bolan (TRex), Prince, Billy Joel, Stevie Wonder and Neil Finn. Although his music can be described as guitar based pop music, it is clear that his influences come from various other styles. Find out more...
